Massachusetts Cedar Almanac

Get in touch

We read every message sent to this site, and we answer what we can. If you have spotted an error in what we have written, caught something out of date, or found a contractor worth knowing about in Massachusetts, write to us through the page itself. Corrections and suggestions are the backbone of a guide like this one.

We respond by email, but we do not publish or share what you send. What reaches us stays between us and you.

How long does it take to hear back?

We aim to reply within two business days. If your message is a correction to a piece we have published, it may take longer — we verify what you tell us before we update the page. A message about a contractor takes time too. We want to be sure before we recommend anyone.

What should I include?

The more you tell us, the better we can help. If you are writing about a contractor, say where they worked, what the job was and how they showed up. If you are asking a roofing or siding question, describe what you are looking at — a roof leak in winter, shingles coming loose, siding that is cracking — and where you are in Massachusetts. If it is an error in our copy, point us at the page and the line, and say what is wrong.

What we cannot help with

We point readers to contractors and to resources about roofing and siding in Massachusetts. We do not offer design advice, estimates, or financial counsel. If you need to know what a job costs or whether you should do it now or wait, you will need to call a local roofer or siding contractor and ask them to come look at what you have.
